We periodically organize “activities” with the aim of encouraging activity (and hence the name) on air.
They aren’t contests even if there is a score, a ranking and (sometimes) even prizes but these are intended only as a stimulus for the participants to give their best because, you know, the competitive spirit always hovers over us all. .
The rules varies with each edition in an attempt to enhance each time a different aspect of the ragchewing which is eg. the duration of the QSO, the exchange of various information etc. etc.
